ho portato a casa un po' di libri di FH in francese (tutti quelli che ho trovato!) i titoli sono:
- Les pretes du psi (??? qual'e' il titolo inglese?)
- La morte blanche (The withe plague)
- Champ mental (Try to remember and six other short stories)
- L'effet lazare (The lazarus effect)
- Et l'homme crea un dieu (The god makers)
- L'incident Jesus (The Jesus incident)

ne avete letto qualcuno di questi?
io ho appena iniziato con l'ultimo della lista e sto facendo fatica a capire alcuni termini francesi troppo fantascientifici per la mia modesta conoscenza di questa lingua

Se non erro, "Try to Remember" dovrebbe far parte, col titolo "Ricorda", dell'antologia di racconti raccolti in "La Strada per Dune" ("Eye") edito dalla TEA.
Riconosco solo questo.

Ri-confermo. Se hai apprezzato il Vecchio Zio Frank in Dune, non puoi trovare non affascinante il suo inconfondibile stile anche in questa antologia, come anche negli altri romanzi da lui creati. Smile

Io ho letto "il morbo bianco" e mi dispiace dire che l'ho trovato noioso, lento e privo di un plot narrativo degno di Frank Herbert.

Uhm ... Io non afere letto ... grafe mancanza yaaaaaaaaaaa!

Il mio preferito è "Il garbato sabotatore" da "La strada per Dune (EYE)" ed 1998 ... Io specifico tutto perche nella mia grandiosa ignoranza non mi vorrei sbagliare Very Happy

Io ho provato a leggere The Green Brain, però onestamente non mi ha preso per niente e l'ho lasciato perdere dopo una cinquantina di pagine: devo ammettere però che trovavo fastidioso anche il fatto di trovare continuamente termini o nomi spagnoli, e leggendo in inglese la cosa mi crea dei problemi, trovo che spezzi molto il ritmo.
Boh, magari proverò a leggere qualcos'altro in futuro...

Già, il problema è trovarli questi libri purtroppo... A parte Progetto 40, tutti i libri di Frank Herbert editi dalla Nord sono esauriti. Sad
